AgileWeight is the software layer that connects to any RS-232 or USB-serial weight indicator, handles the full transaction lifecycle from vehicle entry to ticket print, and gives supervisors a fully audited way to resolve exceptions. Built natively in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
And seven things AgileWeight does better than anyone else in the LATAM scale market.
Connects to any RS-232 or USB-serial weight indicator out of the box. Mettler-Toledo, CAS, OHAUS, Toledo do Brasil, Avery Weigh-Tronix, Rice Lake, and more — no hardware lock-in.
Guided protocol detection sweeps baud rate, parity, and stop bits, matches incoming frames against known signatures (SICS, CAS Continuous, Toledo Continuous, Generic NMEA), and onboards a new scale in one click — no protocol specs required.
Spanish (primary), English, and Portuguese ship in every release. Built multilingual from the ground up — not a bolted-on translation layer.
Real-time KPIs on any phone or tablet on the local network. QR-code pairing, no app install, no per-device licensing.
Five documented exception scenarios, three-phase security model, immutable 7-year audit logs. Industry-leading manual-weighing workflow.
Software-only product that complements hardware sales. Recurring software revenue on top of one-time scale installations.
Ships offline, day one — zero cost, zero setup, zero API keys, zero data leaving your site. Grounded on local docs, cited answers, guardrailed to suggest rather than execute. If you want richer reasoning later, bring your own provider key; or your distributor can supply a curated content pack. Your call, on your terms.
Core modules ship in the standard tier. Add-ons listed below for premium operations.
The primary operational screen — Pantalla de Pesaje. 4-step visual stepper from vehicle entry to ticket print, live serial weight feed, auto-calculated net weight, smart autocomplete with vehicle history, and a unified transaction table with column filters and infinite scroll.
Four ticket templates included: Boleta General, Boleta Residuos, Boleta Recinto (municipal/GAMC double-copy), and 80mm thermal roll. Configurable logos, 1–10 copies per print, transaction preview before printing.
Three-phase security workflow covering five real-world scenarios: post-discharge, pre-discharge, no entry weight, entry weight error, exit weight error. Supervisor authentication with 3-attempt lockout, mandatory justification (10–500 chars), and immutable logs with 7-year retention.
KPI cards, waste/product-type breakdown tables, bar chart over time, station and date-range filters. Mobile-browser accessible — no app install.
Advanced filtering by date, time, client, plate, driver, vehicle type, waste type. Quick presets (Today, Last 7 Days, This Month, Custom). Export to PDF and Excel. Dedicated audit report filterable by supervisor and scenario.
Protocol sweep engine prioritizes 9600 8N1, frame pattern matching against known protocols, confidence scoring (0–100) per detected configuration, live progress via Server-Sent Events, one-click apply to the scale record.
A weighing operation is a mission-critical piece of the customer's business. If it fails, trucks queue up and revenue stops. These are the four fronts we hardened first — three in the product, one in how the product itself is built.
When the network drops, operation continues. Weighments are saved locally with the real weighing time and sent automatically on reconnect, with an idempotency guarantee against duplication. A permanent indicator shows how many are in the queue. The most expensive operational complaint in a weighbridge — solved, not mitigated.
A 4-front hardening program completed and verified in a clean environment: unique credentials per installation (SCRAM-SHA-256, no default passwords ever), minimal network surface (local-only by default), server-computed net weight (the invoiced number cannot be tampered with from the browser), and defense-in-depth (anti-SSRF, rate-limited supervisor verification, hardened HTTP headers). Ready for public-sector tenders.
Database backups scheduled from the application. Automatic backup taken before every upgrade — with the installer telling you where it landed. Restore is protected by administrator password. Disaster recovery becomes a minutes-long procedure, not a prayer that someone remembered.
Every release passes through autonomous test generation, execution, and triage — agents that generate test cases against real operational scenarios, run them across the code path, and surface regressions before they reach a customer site. Not a marketing claim about “AI in the SDLC” — the same delivery machinery we sell as an AgileAI Consulting service, applied to our own product first. It's how we ship a monthly release cadence without breaking installed sites.
Weighing operators spend eight to twelve hours in front of this screen. Every friction compounds. A recent release delivered the largest UX refactor in the product's history — over thirty individual improvements.
Shortcuts for Capture, Save, New, and Print. Enter saves. Pending weighments navigate with arrow keys. An experienced operator dispatches trucks without touching the mouse. Peak-hours throughput increases without adding headcount.
Time in plant (per-truck turnaround, entry to exit) and invoiced in period — surfaced on the operations dashboard. Managers see operational efficiency and daily business without asking anyone to run a report.
Consistent dark theme across every screen, plus a dedicated "cabin light" mode for weighbridge night shifts. Eye strain gone in eight-hour night operations.
44-pixel touch targets, context-appropriate on-screen keyboards (numeric for weights, uppercase for plates), responsive layout for industrial tablets. Scale statuses distinguished by shape as well as color (color-blind safe). Screen readers announce changes. Passes accessibility requirements in public-sector procurement.
The one thing every industry-specific weighing product gets wrong: they force the operator's vocabulary to fit the software. AgileWeight goes the other way — field labels adapt to your vertical without a redeploy.
“Residuo” for waste management, “Mineral” for mining, “Material” for aggregates, “Producto” for grain and general cargo. Operators see the wording they already use every day — no translation between the software and their world.
Two of the most-touched fields on the main pesaje screen adapt their labels the moment your vertical is set — no operator retraining, no admin trip through settings. This is the pattern that scales to every other field in the product.
Additional fields — the ticket header, the report columns, the export mapping, the invoice line item — can be added to the auto-switch list by your distributor, typically within one release cycle. Not a code change; a configuration extension.
You don't need to pick one industry and sell that. The same AgileWeight license fits a waste operator, a mining site, an aggregates yard, and a grain silo — with the on-screen vocabulary tuned to each. Widen your addressable market without widening your product knowledge.

AgileWeight is currently deployed to customers in Bolivia's municipal and industrial sectors through our first official channel partner — with active production use across waste management, public works, and regulated environments.
Non-exclusive · Bolivia · Established metrology & industrial weighing partner
An OIML, NTEP, CSA, and TUV-certified metrology and industrial-weighing company with deep coverage of the Bolivian market — commercial, industrial, laboratory, and truck-scale installations. CAS Bolivia now delivers AgileWeight to both private and government customers across the country.

Municipal waste management · Delivered via CAS Bolivia
Waste-truck weighing at a municipal sanitary landfill — full transaction lifecycle from vehicle entry to ticket print, with the operator surface tuned to real-world weighbridge scenarios (post-discharge exceptions, driver history lookup, multi-format ticket printing). One of the anchor deployments that has driven recent product improvements.
“AgileWeight has become the operational backbone of our weighing operation. The system handles our real workflow — including the exceptions that used to force paper tickets — and the operator team adopted it in days, not weeks. When we need changes, we go through CAS and they land in production quickly.”

Modern LLM-based assistants are useful when they're grounded, cited, and safe. That's exactly how AgileWeight's assistant ships — starting with zero cost, zero configuration, and zero data leaving the site. If you want more, there are two upgrade paths, on your terms.
Installed with the product. Grounded on local product documentation and the current screen's context. Answers the operator on the weighing screen, walks the administrator through the wizard steps, explains a specific detection error. Zero cost, zero setup, zero API keys, zero data leaving your site.
For customers who want richer conversational reasoning — deeper protocol troubleshooting, multi-step diagnosis, nuanced explanation of edge cases. Bring your own key from OpenAI, Anthropic, or another supported provider. Cascading fallbacks; if all configured providers fail, the assistant falls back to offline mode automatically.
For customers with specialized operational context — regulated waste categories, specific mining classification rules, custom compliance workflows. Your distributor (or your own team) curates a knowledge pack; the assistant grounds its answers on that pack alongside the base product docs. The assistant becomes an expert in your operation, not just AgileWeight.
Regardless of tier, only the active screen, the live serial frame (when the operator opens “Anotar”), and the current wizard step ever travel to any assistant provider. Weighments, client records, and fiscal data never travel — not to your own provider, not to a curated content pack lookup, not to a future managed service. This is enforced at the boundary, not by convention.
“The assistant guides, the wizard decides.”
The assistant suggests; you confirm every action on screen. It doesn't submit transactions, doesn't print tickets, doesn't change configuration — it explains, reasons through steps, and cites its sources.
Coming soon: Agile Cloud — managed assistant path for customers who want BYOK-quality reasoning without configuring a provider.
This is the gate that has stopped every scale installer from selling software other than the manufacturer's — because if the software can't decode the indicator's serial frame, nothing else matters. AgileWeight covers this gate three ways: a library of known protocols, agentic reasoning for unknown ones, and a human-decoding UI for the truly exotic.
Sweep engine tries known baud/parity/stop-bit combinations against the incoming serial frame, matches against a library of known indicator protocols (SICS, CAS Continuous, Toledo Continuous, Generic NMEA, and a growing set), and scores each detection with a confidence value. One click to apply. Zero protocol specs required from the installer.
When the library doesn't match, an AI-assisted analyzer reasons about the raw frame — it observes the byte patterns, proposes a candidate protocol structure, tests it against several frames, and reports back what it thinks the indicator is saying. The installer confirms; the protocol joins the library for the next site.
For the indicator that has no known protocol and defeats even the agentic analyzer, the “Asistente de protocolo” opens a visual byte-by-byte decoder. A technician can mark which bytes carry the weight, which are the stability flag, which is the unit — no code, no serial-protocol book. The result is saved as a new protocol.
Distributor takeaway. Every scale installer who has tried to sell software other than the manufacturer's has hit the protocol wall. The current release ships known-protocol coverage for the indicators sold in LATAM, agentic reasoning for the ones outside that set, and a guaranteed manual fallback for the remainder. First gate covered. You can sell against any brand of scale in the market.
CMS is the central server that consolidates every one of your sites into a single corporate dashboard, without changing how sites operate. Sites stay autonomous — if the network fails, weighing continues. CMS sync is dynamic, encrypted over HTTPS, and tolerant to network faults. Gestión Central is the CMS product name; CMS Lite and CMS Full are its editions.
Dynamic sync · HTTPS-encrypted · Sites always operational
Total tonnage, transactions, comparisons across sites — all filterable by period and by site.
Every standard AgileWeight report — now with subtotals and filters by site. Export to PDF and Excel.
Consolidated view of every plate, driver, customer, and product across every site.
Real-time sync status. Alerts if any site stops syncing for more than 48 hours.
Read-only access for executives, with visibility configurable by site or by region.
Each site keeps full autonomy. Sync is asynchronous and fault-tolerant. Weighing never pauses because the CMS is unreachable.
You host the central server on your own infrastructure — on-premise, private cloud, or the VPS of your choice. Your data never leaves your control. Delivered as a Docker Compose package with a complete installation guide. Your IT team manages patches, backups, and certificates.
Ideal for: organizations with a dedicated IT team, or with strict data-sovereignty policies.
Agile operates a single-tenant instance exclusively for you — your data isolated from any other customer. Agile administers patches, daily backups, certificates, and 24×7 monitoring. Deployment in hours, no IT work on your side. Data export on demand; ownership stays with you.
Ideal for: organizations without a dedicated IT team, or those wanting fastest time-to-value.
CMS Lite ships today. CMS Full is on the roadmap — with free migration and no data loss when your operation is ready for it.
Free migration from Lite to Full when it's available. No data loss, no re-implementation.
Real production screens. Three surfaces the operator lives in.
Four surfaces the administrator and distributor live in — setup, protocol detection, AI assistant configuration, and multi-site consolidation.
